I don't know about you, but I am so excited to finally say goodbye to winter and finally say HELLO to spring! It just feels so good to stick your nose into the warm rays of the sun. Beautiful!

For today's DIY I created something for the little ones, or for those that still carry the child of us inside.

Per il progetto di oggi, ho creato qualcosa per i più piccoli, ma che farà contenti anche quelli che sono rimasti un po' bimbi dentro.

Remember the days when we slept over at a friend's house, talked til the early morning, stuffed our faces with chocolate and cookies?

Ricordate i giorni in cui restavate a dormire a casa delle vostre amiche, parlando fino alla mattina dopo, mangiando cioccolato e biscotti?

Even though my daughter is still too young, I can't wait for slumber parties happening at our place.

Anche se mia figlia è ancora troppo piccola, non vedo l'ora di cominciare ad ospitare i suoi pigiama party.

Here a way to get the kids excited for the party with this DIY.

Ok, so this is what you need:

: a wooden untouched doll (I found mine in a craft's store, but etsy is also a great source for these guys) / una bambolina di legno

: a small piece of fabric (i tried cotton, but went for felt in the end. It stuck better together) / un piccolo pezzetto di stoffa (cotone, ma anche feltro)

: glue / colla

: fabric / tessuto

: a small box / una piccola scatola

: cotton balls / cotone

: a way to wrap the box / un nastro

: cookies! / biscottini!

Now, take the wooden doll and measure a piece of fabric of your choice, so that it fits nicely around your doll's head.

E adesso misurate un pezzetto di stoffa perché possa andare bene sulla testa della bambolina.

Glue the fabric onto the doll and give the doll a face!

Incolla il tessuto sulla bambola e disegnate occhi, bocca, baso sul suo viso.

Grab a bit of the cotton balls and make it even fluffier to create a little sleeping spot for the doll. Put it in the box and the doll on it. And don't forget the cookies!

Pendete un po' di cotone, appallottolatelo e create una piccola culla per la bambola. Mettetelo nella scatolina e ponetevi sopra la bambola. E non dimenticate di aggiungere i biscottini!

I cut out a piece of paper to create a divider between the doll and the cookies (which will also prevent the cookies from flying around!)

Io ho tagliato anche un pezzettino di carta per creare una sorta di divisorio per i biscotti.

Finally, tie up the box, and attach the invite. Voila, you are done and the box is ready for its recipient!

E infine, legate la scatolina con un nastro e attaccateci l'invito. Voilà, ecco fatto, la scatolina è pronta per il suo destinatario!
