Fabric Flowers DIY

Oggi un post "eccezionale" di sabato. Ieri, infatti, un mio progetto DIY è stato pubblicato su The Wedding Chicks. Ho realizzato il tutorial per creare il bouquet di tessuto utilizzato per lo shooting di San Valentino.

I'm here today with a Saturday special post. Yesterday, in fact, one of my DIY projects was featured over at The Wedding Chicks. I made a tutorial on the how to DIY the fabric flowers bouquet I used during the Valentines Day shooting.

Ecco il materiale di cui avrete bisogno:

Supplies needed:

Tessuti vari / Assorted Fabrics
Feltro / Felt
Bottoni / Assorted buttons
Forbici / Scissors
PIstola colla a caldo /Hot glue gun
Fil di ferro / Floral wire
Filo / Thread
Ago / Needle
Template die cerchi / Circles template which you can download by clicking here

1. Tagliare i cerchi e disegnarne il profilo sul tessuto scelto / Cut out from card stock the template circles and then trace their profile on chosen fabrics.

2. Tagliare i cerchi di stoffa / Cut all fabric circles.

3. Cucire lungo i bordi del cerchio e tirare il filo per ottenere un cerchio chiuso arricciato, tagliare il filo e annodare / Sew around the edge of each circle, pulling the thread and once you have obtained a ruffled closed circle cut the thread and knot it.

4. Scegliere i bottoni preferiti e incollarli sul davanti del fiore / Choose cute buttons and glue to the front of your flower.

5. Tagliare dei pezzi di fil di ferro lunghi circa 30 cm, e piegarli a metà. Poi piegare le estremità. Incollare il fiore al fil di ferro con della colla a caldo e bloccare con un pezzetto di feltro / Cut enough pieces of floral wire (about 30 cm long) and bend them in two half. Then bend the ends. Then add some hot glue on the back of a flower and then glue the wire on it and add a piece of felt to keep it steady.
