Pink and Shabby Chic

E allora eccomi tornare con il primo matrimonio del 2011... e non potevo non scegliere un matrimonio come sarebbe piaciuto anche a me: rosa, anzi no, pastello, romantico, pieno di deliziosi dettagli vintage e personali.

And so here I am with the first wedding of 2011... and I cannot help but choosing a wedding in the style I love: pink, well, better say pastel, romantic and full of vintage and personal details.

Il dettaglio che più amo è l'abito della sposa: lo stesso indossato da sua nonna nel 1954 per sposare suo nonno, modificato per calzarle alla perfezione. La collana e gli orecchini sono sempre cimeli di famiglia... che dolce indossare dei ricordi!

The detail I love the most is the bride's dress: the same worn by her grandmother when she married her grandfather in 1954, modified to fit her perfectly. The necklace and the earrings are family heirlooms... so sweet to wear memories!

Gli allestimenti sono il frutto di mesi di ricerche nei mercati dell'usato e nei negozi di antiquariato: libri antichi, mappe e argenti... 22 tavoli tutti diversi l'uno dall'altro!

The setting was the fruit of months of searches at flea markets and thrift and antique stores: old books, maps and flatwares... 22 tables one different from the other!
